Music is my boyfriend
I love music. No question about it. If you want some cool music, hit me up. As I was listening to my music I decided that there are just some songs that make me happy. They make me happy for many reasons. The beat makes me want to dance, the lyrics are catchy, they bring back good memories, or whatever it is, I just love listening to the song. So I compiled a list of 20 songs that name me happy.

- Mates of State: Goods
- Bob Marley: Jammin'
- Amos Lee: Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight
- Bon Iver: Brackett, WI
- Jens Lekman: Postcards to Nina
- Los Campesinos: My Year in Lists
- Neko Case: People Got a Lot of Nerve
- Oasis: She's Electric
- Pinback: Fortress
- The Postal Service: Be Still My Heart
- Regina Spektor: Better
- Santogold: Lights Out
- Sigur Ros: Gobbledigook, Fljotavik, Hoppipola
- StellaStar*: My Coco

Birthday, Life Plans and Pranks
So, I celebrated my 26th brithday last Monday! I can't believe that I am this old. I remember being young and thinking that I would never make it 20. Needless to say, I made it to 20 and beyond.
Since I just keep getting older I figure I should start making some life plans. I currently volunteer with Big Brother Big Sisters and love it. My "little" Ali is so fun! But I feel like I could do more in the community so I have decided to coach a Recreation League soccer team! I am super excited to start. I may be getting in over my head but what better way to know than to jump in feet first. Also, I volunteered for the day with a organization at work called Sealants for Smiles. This program goes to low income schools and gives free teeth check-ups and applies sealants to kids teeth who may not get the chance to go to the dentist. I had so much fun and the kids were so awesome. Some of them had never been to the densist before. This little experience got me re-thinking that I need to get a degree in dental hygene. There are so many ways I could give back to the community if I were a dental hygienist. So, I am going to start working towards that.
Last night was pretty funny. The guys that live next door to us are fun to mess with. Baylee found some Pop-it's in her closet so we decided that we would throw them against the boys front door. Mind you, this was at 11:30 pm. At first they didn't do anything but then the next thing we know, they are opening the door and throwing water at us. I recorded it on my camera and it is pretty funny!
I can't make it go the right direction. Sorry!

Dexter the Texter
Dexter, my friend the texter is so annoying. I am sure at one point in your life you have had one.
Ladies you know the type. The guy you meet, hang out with a couple of times maybe even kiss (cuz it may have been awhile since the last guy) but at the end of the day you are just not interested in? Then, you avoid his texts or phones calls because you just can't fit him into your schedule because washing your hair is way more exciting than faking that you like him. And finally when the phone calls and texts won't stop, you have to tell him flat out that it just isn't going to work. (And when you tell him this, you are pretty firm in telling him not to contact you.) But he still thinks it is ok for him to text you the next week!! Is this sounding familiar to anyone? Cuz I have a Dexter on my hands. At what point is it ok to get a restraining order? :)
